DEAR  FELLOW  MARTIAL  ARTISTS,

It is our pleasure to once again extend this invitation to you to attend the 2010 WESTERN CANADIAN MARTIAL ARTS CHAMPIONSHIP.  This year we will again be a two day event.  Friday night will be  5 rings of Modified Muay Thai Fighting.  Saturday will be devoted to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Submission Grappling, Traditional Forms (Japanese/Okinawan, Korean and  Chinese including Tai Chi) Creative/Open Forms and Point and Continuous Point Fighting, .   As always, this tournament will continue its long-standing tradition of efficiency and punctuality.  Our goal is to be finished by 10:00pm Friday night and by 5:00pm on Saturday.  Don’t risk the disappointment of missing your division.  Please arrive on time.

Additional Tournament Information

Weigh In

All competitors requiring a weigh in must do so a minimum of one hour before the start of their division.  Competitors in BJJ and Freestyle Grappling will be weighed in at ring side prior to their first match.

Grappling Weight Categories

Male Novice- White belt up to 2 stripes or up to one year experience
Male Intermediate- White belt up to 4 stripes or up to two years experience
Male Advanced: Blue belt and higher or more than two years experience

Appropriate Divisions

All players must enter their appropriate age, style and rank divisions.  Junior divisions may be adjusted, at the discretion of the director, to accommodate weight and size differences in the interest of safety and fairness.  We reserve the right to refuse any entry.

Parent’s Pass
